I'm looking at making a game that helps teachers teach students how to spell better. Please add comments below of features that you would like to see in a spelling program. Also let me know if you would like to be a beta tester. I'm hoping to get the first version done by the end of this summer, August 2011. Currently I have almost 500 commonly used words recorded for this program. I'm planning on adding the following categories: countries, languages of the world, states, capitals, and books of the Bible. Some of the features that I would like to see would be

• several different voices for the words
• the option for the word to be used in a sentence
• export a students scores so that they can be imported into a grade book
• record of students information: time, errors, words they struggle with, etc...

I know that there are many different online options out there as web pages but it would be nice if you wouldn't have to be online to use the program. Also being a Linux fan I would like to see this program be able to work on both Windows and Linux. And even Mac if I could find someone to port it.
